Pressure Relief Testing

IVI is a National Board certified facility. This means that IVI has a well-defined program to maintain and control the repair of pressure relief devices. Properly trained personnel, documentation, equipment, quality control and testing are all required elements of this program. Pressure relief valves are repaired under our VR Stamps #179, 314, and 348. All reconditioned pressure relief valves are completely disassembled and refurbished back to as new condition. All internal parts are inspected for correct manufacturer's specifications and replaced if out of tolerance. IVI is certified to perform welding on pressure relief valves should the need arise. IVI can test and certify steam, liquid or air.

Compuset© Hydraulically actuated load-measuring system, with the ability to test pressure relief devices to full load conditions, while your system is still running under normal operating conditions.

IVI provides full documentation for repaired pressure relief valves. We can conduct plant surveys for pressure relief valves and implement this program on the magnetic media of your choice.
